About
Gavin is the CTO at myYearbook.com, which according to comScore, is one of the 25 most trafficked websites in the United States. He is actively involved in several open source communities and has been an open source evangelist for over 15 years.
Gavin has been involved specifically with the PostgreSQL community as a user, contributor and evangelist for over 10 years. In his current role at myYearbook.com, he has been directly involved in the various methodologies used to scale PostgreSQL, meeting the demands of the rapid & large scale growth that the site has experienced.
In addition to his work at myYearbook.com, he is a board member for the GameSurge IRC Network, runs PrivatePaste.com and pathetic.org, an online poetry community, established in 1997.
