Portal was an amazingly fun game. I can’t overstate how enjoyable it was. And if you, like me, love your weighted companion cube, you can download fun wallpapers here.

Stuck at 43
Posted on March 31, 2005
World of Warcraft just had a new patch release. It's usually fun when that happens. Good things usually come of it. I downloaded it last week, but haven't had much time to play. Imagine my suprise when I went to play for the first time on the patch, on Tuesday and after I logged in, it told me the server was full, I was person number 478 in line, and I would have to wait approximately twenty minutes to login. Obviously I said nuts to that and decided to play some pool instead. Which is why I'm still stuck at level 43.
Star Wars Galaxies and Battlefield 2

Figures that as soon as I cancelled my subscription wouldn't you know that Sony/LucasArts have started publically talking about the one feature I was really excited about all along, deep space vehicles and travel. Will I renew my subscription and buy the expansion? Most definately. I'll probably get bored and ditch it after a few months since SWG isn't designed for the causual MMORPG player, but hey, it'll be fun while I am playing it.
On a side note DiCE and EA Games announced Battlefield 2 today. This is the 3rd title in the Battlefield series, which I guess is best described as a multiplayer first person shooter with vehicles and a good attention to story and detail. I am really enjoying Battlefield: Vietnam for that very reason. Battlefield 2 is supposed to be based upon a new engine, and the screenshots make me wonder if they are concept, still art or are in-game, since they are so polished. If they're in game with my 9800 Pro be enough?
